Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what cookies and storage technologies we use on BallersHub and how you can manage them.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files that a site stores in your browser. Together with similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), they allow the platform to work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used. In this policy we use the word cookies to refer to all of them.

2. How we use them

We use these technologies to keep your session logged in, remember your language and other preferences, measure the use of the platform in aggregate to improve it, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Google, Facebook and Instagram.

3. What cookies and storage we use

The main technologies we use are:

The performance analytics we use (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) do not use cookies.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are placed by third parties. Google Analytics uses its own cookies to measure audience, and the Google Ads tag (_gcl_au) and the Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) use theirs to measure our advertising campaigns. When their scripts load, Google and Meta may also read or place their own cookies on their domains, for example if you are logged in to your Google, Facebook or Instagram account. In addition, when you complete your profile registration or buy a Pro plan, our servers report that event to Meta together with the _fbp and _fbc cookies (we explain this in the Privacy Policy). From your browser, the pixel also tells Meta when you reach the checkout page of a Pro plan, even if you don't complete the payment. During the payment process, the processors (Stripe or Mercado Pago) may place cookies necessary to complete the transaction securely. Processing by those third parties is governed by their respective policies.

5. How to manage or disable cookies

You can control and delete cookies from your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some features (such as logging in) may stop working correctly.

For Google analytics you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or adjust cookies from your browser. You can also clear the site's local storage from your browser options.

For advertising: in Google, you can turn off personalized ads from your Google account's ad settings (myadcenter.google.com); in Meta, from the ad settings of your Facebook or Instagram account, you can choose not to have your activity on other websites, such as this one, used to show you ads. An ad blocker or your browser's tracking protection may also prevent the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag from loading. Keep in mind that the registrations and purchases we report to Meta from our servers do not depend on these cookies; if you want to object to that processing, you can exercise your rights as explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or modify the technologies we use. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date.
