Privacy Policy

Your trust is part of the product. Here we explain, in plain language, what data we process, what we use it for and what control you have over it.
1. Introduction and data controller
This Privacy Policy explains how BallersHub collects, uses, shares and protects the personal data of those who use the platform (ballershub.co). It is complementary to the Terms of Service.
The data controller is Julián Berardinelli, in the Argentine Republic. For any query about your data or about this policy, write to us at info@ballershub.co.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we may process the following categories of data:
- Account data: email and language. The password is managed by our authentication provider and we do not store it in plain text.
- Player profile data: name, date of birth, gender, nationality, height and weight, position, club and contractual situation, languages, education, goals and photo or avatar.
- Contact data: phone or WhatsApp and city or country of residence (some you can choose to show or hide).
- Identity verification (KYC) documents: an identity document and a selfie, together with their type, number and country, when profile verification is appropriate.
- Agency and representative data: name, logo, contact details, countries of operation, social networks and professional licenses.
- Multimedia content: photos, videos and material you upload to your portfolio.
- Billing and payment data: billing address and tax identifier. Card data is processed directly by Stripe or Mercado Pago; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage and technical data: browsing, device, performance metrics and log information, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy).
- Communications and marketing preferences: your consents to receive news, offers or feature announcements, and your interaction with our emails.
- Visitor (lead) data: if you leave your email on a player's public portfolio to contact them, we process that email to manage the contact.
3. What we use your data for
We process your data to:
- Create and operate your account and publish your portfolio.
- Verify the identity and truthfulness of profiles.
- Process subscriptions, payments and billing.
- Send you service communications and, if you consent, marketing communications.
- Measure usage, improve the product and the experience, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal, accounting and security obligations.
4. Bases that legitimize the processing
We process your data on the basis of the performance of the contract (providing you the service), your consent (for example, for marketing or for the processing of identity documents), compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform securely. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the prior processing.
5. Minors
BallersHub covers youth football. Profiles of persons under 18 must only be created and managed by their mother, father, legal guardian or by the agency representing them with the guardian's authorization, who provide consent for the processing of the minor's data and are responsible for the account.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors outside that framework. If you believe we are processing a minor's data without the corresponding authorization, write to us at info@ballershub.co and we will remove it.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with providers that render services to us (data processors), only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:

We may also disclose data when required by law, by an order of a competent authority, or to protect rights, the safety of persons or the integrity of the platform.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Argentina, mainly in the United States. When this occurs, we seek to ensure there are adequate contractual and technical safeguards to protect your data in accordance with applicable regulations.
8. How long we keep the data
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described. Identity verification documents are kept for the period necessary to evidence the verification; billing data, for the period required by tax and accounting regulations. We then delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification, updating and deletion of your data, as well as object to certain processing or withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@ballershub.co; we may ask you to prove your identity.
The data subject has the right to exercise the right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is demonstrated. The AGENCIA DE ACCESO A LA INFORMACIÓN PÚBLICA (Agency for Access to Public Information), the supervisory authority of Ley 25.326, has the power to handle the complaints and claims filed regarding non-compliance with personal data protection rules.
10. Data security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption in transit, access controls, security rules at the database level and private storage for sensitive documents. No system is completely infallible, but we work to reduce risks and respond to incidents.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and storage technologies to make the platform work, remember your preferences and measure usage. You can find the details and how to manage them in our Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service or in regulations. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date and, in the event of significant changes, we will endeavor to notify you.
